Well, my bags are packed and sitting in the living room, my kindle is charging, and my dad's grilling steaks for my last dinner at home.
It's official...I am leaving.
It all feels unreal as usual, and I probably won't sleep tonight.
It's strange having some idea of where I'm going as opposed to leaping blindly like I've gotten used to doing. But I don't know enough to make this transition comfortable...I'm still very much a newbie and feel really really young right now. I can't believe they let me do this...haha!
I appreciate my parents so much more this time around, and I've been trying to soak up the minutes that are left. Speaking of which, I'm going to stop blogging and spend these minutes with them! :)
I'll be in Nairobi by Friday night, and I'll try to let everyone know when I get there safely!
