Opportunity!!!

I wanted very briefly to clue everyone in on something happening all over the world beginning this weekend... Following one of the 5 major tenets of the Islam, Muslims everywhere will be fasting and praying daily for the next month (called Ramadan, from August 22-September 20). This can be an intense time of searching and crying out to Allah for many, and God, in the past, has used this time of desperation to reveal himself to Muslims.


God's desire is that all will know the truth and be saved (1 Tim 2:4), and I hope God pierces your hearts with that same desire so that you can pray with sincerity and passion. There are so, so many people who are desperately looking for peace, love and truth, and I am convinced I have found this in Christ! Therefore, I cry out to the one who softened my heart to reach down and do the same for those who are searching.


My heart's desire is for the people I know who have never encountered Jesus to meet him, fall in love with him as I have, and surrender their lives to him forever! I will be praying very intentionally for my Muslim friends during this month and I want to ask you to join me.
